oh man, the blog has been inactive for so long that it was disabled! :(
the TIP days seem to be a flitting memory to most these days, where we cant even seem to recollect the fun and close-knit days we had together.
with the army boys entering uni and having new social circles of their own, the girls reaching the end of their uni life and about to start a new chapter again soon, the days of fun and laughter seem to be left way behind us.
but i guess, all of us still hope and wish that one day, we can go back together and relive the days. though i know everything would have changed by then :(
btw, the sudden reminiscence came when someone asked me what does 我们的故事 means when i wore the tippers jacket out in sch one day. never expect anyone else to realise it was a song title, and after that, a friend went to listen to the song and said it was very nice. he even forwarded me the link and although i have not heard this song for years, the soothing melody hit me once again and remind me of all the past memories we created together.

oh wow.. it's getting close to a thousand days since we left taiwan.. isnt that close to 3 years? somehow it doesnt feel like it. i could still vividly remember the times we had in taiwan.
the excitement in everyone, the countless photos on SIA and the loss-in-one-hand-usage for lingyan and zhanyi cause of my unbelievable fear for flying. and that was only day 1.
the sequence for 4 days after is a blur now but i rmb tons of fun and laughter and phototaking. i know i developed close to 300 photos of 九族文化村 and the 公主小妹 shooting area, the dining area, the staircase photo, the postcard-perfect fountain photo, jumping over fire basin at the tribal performance, the random imitations of statues with lingyan and michelle opening their mouths like fishes gobbling food, shermain's getting hit by michael's arrow's photo, the countless amusement park rides where i was official photographer, the beautiful roundabout where we squeezed 12 ppl into a zi-pai shot and had the photo made into a badge, the souvenirs bought at one of the tribal stores with owl keychains and also other varieties to protect one's beloved friends.
next memory flash would be of 日月潭, of the few of us posing with apollo dance pose, the all-guys shoot, the girls-sitting-facing-front-and-turning-back photo AND most importantly, the dying of almost everyone's camera's BATTERIES which led to our new rule of the trip: 2 cameras per photoshoot. (haha sounds as though we are some big shot celebrities with many cameras waiting to flash at us right? :D)
i vaguely rmb some temple where sis, mummy and mei nv had the 1-2-3 pose while acting cute, the person posing as a statue and jack paying to have a shot with the "statue" when out of nowhere some random girls pop up from nowhere to crash the photo, the fortune telling machine which made some funny sound when we inserted the coins, shermain acting tall and trying to hit the bell, the girls sitting at the staircase (our fav pose somehow) and oh! all of us trying to squeeze into a small tiny weeny phone booth! haha that was so classic. and of course, the usual gimmicks when we see a sun in the distant. we had funny tricks like trying to "eat" the sun/moon, circling it with the finger, lifting it with a finger and etc..
ahh and this came out of nowhere. there was this accomodation place which was supposed to have a rustic feel and the girls were trying to prank call the guys which turned out to be an epic failure cause michelle was in the girls room and lingyan was in the guys room, each pretending to be some other person >< and our "insomnia" + "sleepwalking" to the guys room where we saw ms lum jogging at night with some other school's teachers, the late night chit chatting session in the serene and quiet night. oh mans, i miss the peacefulness and the chance to htht in a neutral environment. everyone seems to be full of thoughts now and dont know how to begin sharing their thoughts with each other. :(
just rmbed another place we went to. 921地震博物馆. somehow we managed quite alot of group shots there. hmmm. and also with the rj girls. speaking of which, that reminds me of the mountain we climbed up where it was drizzling and we were all wearing raincoats yet still trying to capture the precious happy moments we had. was pretty sure we had a few photos where we were drenched yet still smiling v happily. the group photo with everyone in raincoats. the long walk up to the tree top where i didnt dare to walk on the tree-top trail around the forest, the fog that came in just when we wanted to take photo, the dog that scared some of the girls when we were trying to take girls photos hence the many ngs, and again, the fog which totally blurred the guys' faces, and xiangmei going missing suddenly only to be found helping amanda nearby. the long walk down the slippery stone steps in the dwindling light hence the 1-2, 1-2 to remind those behind us of the number of steps there are coming up, lingyan twisting her ankle and hopping nearly the rest of the way down, squeezing into a bath tub for lingyan and shermain to soak their injured ankles but which resulted in a series of timer-ed shots for the girls with michelle using the wastebucket as a stand for the camera, the practising of apollo dance at the chilly front desk corridor with the door opening whenever anyone stands too close and with yinghao grumbling to those at the side to please not stand too close to the door cause it was FREEZING COLD alr and we dont need the extra wind.
well but the next day turns out to be colder cause it was up to 阿里山 at freaking 5am in the morning supposedly to catch the sunset but oh wells. we werent fated. or perhaps, we are destined to go again to catch the sunset :) the ear muffs sis or zhanyi had on, the cold air we were breathing out, the photo we wanted to take at the train station but couldnt find anyone to help us take hence michelle turned to the 2 guys queuing behind us saying "could SOMEBODY kindly help us take a photo please" and hence the name SOMEONE for weiliang and ANYBODY for his friend, ben. and if im not mistaken, EVERYBODY for the last nj guy whom we have yet to be acquainted with.
then there was the 蒙古烤肉 restaurant we went to, a photo of zhanyi with some rectangular paper pasted to his forehead and taken from a mirror apparently, the photo which most ppl rmb with great fondness: mr neow and his golden bikini, the double sounding of the last word of our names; fangfang, yanyan, meimei, siewsiew, yeeyee, zhongzhong, wenwen??, not to forget the other names, hao-ge, sister, mei nv who is in fact half a mei nv cause it is claimed by his 2 closest friends that he possesses the brain of a bimbo yet he doesnt have the look of one..., the 抓娃娃机 which the guys went crazy over and resulted in an overload of soft toys for the girls, the hanging of soft toys at the ceiling of the bus, zhanyi's zen pose at the back of the bus, sis's cat-like napping pose on the bus as well as everyone's sleeping poses captured by some evil soul who happened to be awake ><
well. that's a rather long post for now. shall continue with day 5 reminiscence tmr :)
Remember 10th of august 2007? The day when our buddies left. Its been one year and a day now.
I'll never forget everything we shared throughout the whole journey. Laughter, tears, high-ness.
Thanks for giving me these wonderful memories.

hey ppl, its been quite a while since SQ 787 (whatever is the flight no.) landed in Singapore already.
Wooosh time imba fast sia. From that time we saw the photomontage in Singapore till the 2nd time we saw the photomontage in Taipei.
so still must say this, photographs fade, memories might be forgotten. So MUST USE DIGITAL CAM LA!
the bigger the cam the better :) hee
anyway ppl, some of us sure have regrets when we return one. SO LETS DO A "FOR ONE MORE TIME!"
for example.
for one more time, i would eat the CHUA 冰 at 40 and get sick again! for one more time, i would not lose my cam at the farewell dinner. i couldnt take pics with all the peeps :(
Couldn't really fall asleep last night. Everytime i close my eyes, images of the days in taiwan would flash across my mind. It's just so hard to believe that taiwan immersion programme 2007 has ended, officially.
A magical journey it seems to be...

here we are, halfway through the trip already. time flies and hopefully all of us had a great time so far. 1st 4 days with everyone was fun and i miss all the random photo taking and chatting the girls had in our hotel room. it feels weird splitting into the different schools but luckily zhongzheng had quite a lot of hc ppl so it was still ok!
the trip wasnt entirely memorable for me so hopefully we can create more beautiful memories together in the following days.

ooo nice! haha junbo why did you all go queensway?? anyway, michael, michelle, sihui and xiangmei came my house today! haha and we happily called lots of taiwan students randomly! :D but mic and i VERY SAD!! we were mistaken to by some other people which was very insulting to us! haiz i still cant believe who they thought we were. NVM. we shant talk to them in taiwan then.
we had bbq stingray, sotong, veg and thai style mango chicken after that with my parents. yummy yummy!! im feeling hungry just thinking about it! ><
hehe i like apollo! v random i know but yeah. i like it! and my dance partner is ENTHU too! goodgood! BUT stupid *** screw up our plans la! irritating. i dont feel like dancing if my dance partner isnt dancing. how how?! sad. =(
ok anyway it's less than a wk to TAIWAN! wooohoo!! hope everyone is looking forward to it, be it the taiwan students or the hc students. time's precious for we wouldnt have much playing time over there so lets just make the best of whatever limited time we have and have fun there! Be caught up in the whirlwind of joy and create memories for savouring years down the road. Hopefully we will have a TIP outing 10 years later and we shall talk about the days we had in Hwa Chong and Taiwan!

haha nobody seems to be posting anything and i wonder if anybody still reads this blog. anyway, im sick and tired of doing pw so i shall crap here! =)
ahhh i cant wait to go taiwan and get away from everything in singapore! :( 1+ month just seems so far away.. and so unfair that our buddies are still going to be having their exams when we reach! we're going to miss FOUR days of fun with them!!! ahhhh!! i havent talk to a lot of the taiwan buddies for such a long time! stupid education system. we couldnt talk to them when we're preparing for promos and now that our horrible exams are finally over, they are the ones taking exams so we couldnt chat either. -.-"
haiz i miss those days we had in hwa chong!! all those joking, cards playing, random chatting, eating and going out. "we have fun, we have joy, we have seasons in the sun" this sounds cliche but it just seems true. hopefully we will create even more joyful memories when we are in taiwan! =)
oh and as a last note, i think the hotel room we are going to stay in for the 1st 4 days is VERY ke lian because there is a very high possibility that lingyan and i will end up staying in the same room if they allocate rooms according to the sequence we went on stage for welcoming ceremony. i can just foresee the racket we will create, and together with xiangmei ar, i think the 3 of us will just go crazy completely. :D

Short post.
I need the birthdays for some of the Singaporeans. ;)
Rachel, Yuxuan, Sihui, Huanzi, Shermain and Lincoln.
Was doing it prior to the National Day holidays but sadly I never completed it. O: Once I compile it we can have our family tree(s)! The all sister one, the all brother one, as well as the typical normal family tree. Though I wonder who would be able to do the latter one anyway. :/
Err. Okay I shall post a longer post.. when I have more time. Like after the Physics and Econs tests. -nods-
